Turn of the Century Associates

Dealer 139 -- Turn of the Century Associates, and its co-owners, Laurie Gross and Barry Gluck.

Recent transplants from the NYC area, both Barry and Laurie have many years of collecting experience between them. Barry had been an active seller on eBay during its formative years back in 1997-98 and during that time had even written a book titled 'The Secrets to Success on eBay"®, selling an amazing 1800 copies. Barry was also managing an automobile dealership during that time, but found time on the weekends to attend antique auctions and flea markets in search of his favorite 'old things that could be offered for sale to the eBay community. Laurie, a NYC Realtor, was also a collector, although she tended to collect things that she could wear, such as jewelry and vintage clothing, never wanting to part with any of them. In 2002, they decided to make the move cross country and settled in Newport Beach, where they continue to live today. Joining the Chapman Antique Mall family in November of 2002 they have consistently been one of its largest and most successful dealers.

Although there's no telling what you might find on any given day in their eclectic dealer spaces (yes, they have more than one), Barry and Laurie specialize in antique clocks, radios, scientific gizmos, tobacciana, and other old things of value. Originally, Turn of the Century Assoiciates were know for the overall masculine tone of the items they chose to sell, but, thanks to Laurie's influence, they now offer such diverse items as vintage purses, glassware, artwork, and estate jewelry. They also offer high quality and hard to find furniture pieces and suites.

To find Turn of the Century Associates (dealer 139), turn left upon entering the store and then turn right at the front desk. They will be the first large space on your right. Occasionally, if you're lucky, you might even find Barry 'working' in the store.
